Do not Create sub-folder

The backup file is copied directly to the backup folder with its original path.  Because all the files are backed up to the same folder, there will be only one version of backup file.

For manager the old versions of the backup files, please select one of the following options to create a sub-folder by the started time automatically. The old version maintenance function can delete old versions automatically.

Date String

A sub-folder named by the date string is created,  and all the files are backed up to this folder.
The date is when the synchronization is started. And the folder string is in following format:
 <backup folder>\20071023\

Full backup the source folder for every specified days (0:No; 1~):

If you want BestSync to perform a full backup, specify a day number in the behind edit box.  BestSync will check the elapsed time since the last full backup, if the specified days are past, a full backup is performed. If the day number is 0, no full backup will do.

The full backup will NOT include following files:
1.  Excluded folders and files set by the "Include or Exclude" wizard page.
2.  Filtered files set by "Filter by file types" in the "Filter" wizard page.
The backup folder is appended a "Full Backup" comment string.

Maximum preserving days of the backup files (0:No limit; 1~):

If you want BestSync to delete the old versions of the backup files automatically, specify the day number in the edit box. When the backup files are older than the specified day number, the files are deleted after a synchronization action.

If the day number is 0, no file will be deleted. If you select this action, you should manage the old versions by yourself, otherwise the system will be running out of the disk space, and can not backup new files anymore.

Record the log of the synchronization task

Put a check in this option to log the history. Later you can start the log window to view the history, and explorer the backup files.

The maximum record times of log(1~32):
